Following the success of the first conference, the Namibian Oil and Gas Conference returns to Windhoek from 20 to 22 August, 2024.
The first conference brought together over 800 delegates and key industry stakeholders, sparking numerous innovations and insights to lay a solid foundation for a strategic plan guiding the public and private sectors on maximizing investments in the industry. The conference established a firm foundation for a strategic plan that directs the public and private sectors on how Namibia can best capitalize on investments in this sector.
The conference, titled “Next Steps Towards a Prosperous Oil and Gas Industry,” offers a unique opportunity for networking and partnerships between local and global investors.
Feromihin d.o.o. will also participate in this year’s conference, further enriching this significant event in the oil and gas sector with its advanced solutions.
The innovative program includes two days of strategic discussions featuring over 70 distinguished speakers, panel discussions on relevant topics, and more.
National and international speakers will enrich the conference program with their insights and analyses. They will explore issues concerning the status of Namibia’s oil and gas industry, energy future, the initiation of an energy revolution in Namibia, infrastructure and logistics, Namibia’s role in global oil and gas markets, procurement transparency, human resource development, and skills enhancement.
We are proud to announce that our CEO, Dubravko Kamenečki, and Vedran Prica, Head of Commercial Operations, will speak at this year’s Namibia Oil Gas Conference and share Croatian insights into oil and gas pipeline construction and maintenance.
New to this year’s conference are workshops dedicated to skill development and capacity building in the oil, gas, and energy sectors, to be held before the main summit on August 20.
The conference strongly focuses on proposing ideas and strategies to ensure that investments in the sector lead to the development of an integrated industrial base to the rest of the economy, thereby creating sustainable value chains and jobs and improving the living standards of Namibia’s population.
The event is organized by the Economic Association of Namibia (EAN) in partnership with the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB) and the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF), with a strategic partnership from the National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (NAMCOR). The conference also has official support from Namibia’s Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME).
